Murder on The Dancefloor reached #2 in the first chart week of 2002 and currently sits at #8 in the UK Official Chart this week, re-entering the charts exactly 22 years later. The song became a top-10 hit worldwide, charting within the top three in Australia, New Zealand, and four European countries and #9 in the US Billboard Maxi-Singles Sales chart. January 3rd 2024 saw the biggest resurgence to date reaching 1.84M daily global streams (all partners non-UGC). Sophie Ellis-Bextor currently has 5.5m monthly listeners on Spotify, up 73% vs last month. The song also hit the Top 10 on Spotify, Apple and Amazon Music in the UK this week.
